Job Summary
A staffing firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Hospitalist Coder in Tulsa.
Must be able to:
- Work directly (face-to-face) with providers to ensure optimal documentation
- Review documentation to ensure accurate coding
- Resolve pending charges into Facility Electronic Health Record System
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Attend and/or conduct periodic coding / charge entry training sessions
- Requires one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCS, CCS-P, or RHIT); AAPC (CPC, CPC, CPC-H)
- Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare coding experience required
- Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding and Correct Coding Initiatives (CCI) required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
