Job Summary
A technical college needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Hotel Restaurant and Tourism Management Instructor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses
- Preparing and maintaining all required documentation and administrative reports
- Developing program curriculum, syllabi, goals, and objectives
Qualifications Include:
- Must be able to teach courses in a classroom/lab/field environment
- Must have 3 years experience in-field
- MA in Business Management with a minimum of 9 graduate semester hours in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, Hospitality Management OR
- MA in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Management and a minimum of 9 graduate semester hours in Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism, Hospitality Management OR
- MA in Business Management, Management or related field
- Must have strong computer and communication skills and able to interact effectively with a diverse student population
