Job Summary

A insurance and risk consultancy company is seeking a Telecommute HPR Property Engineer in Chicago.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with underwriting
  • Maintaining and enhancing technical skills and expertise in respective field to support the business
  • Completing as needed Loss Control surveys for managed accounts and also complete surveys

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree: Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or other Engineering type discipline
  • Minimum 7-10 years of engineering experience in HPR type insurance environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling property accounts in the capacity of an Account Engineer
  • Demonstrate great engineering/technical expertise in fire protection/loss control atmosphere
  • Strong familiarity with Fire Protection guidelines via either FM, IRI, or applicable NFPA codes
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
