Job Summary
A non-profit organization has a current position open for a Telecommute Humanitarian Grant Writer in New York City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Research and identify prospective funding opportunities and sources
- Initiate relationships with new prospective funders/grant-making institutions
- Develop proposal and draft inquiries, letters and proposals for funding
Position Requirements Include:
- 4 year degree
- 3+ years of grant research and writing experience
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly articulate FRF's mission and objectives is essential
- Self-directed and organized and able to work independently with minimal oversight
