Job Summary

A staffing agency has an open position for a Telecommute IBM MQ Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting ongoing customer requests from software engineering teams
  • Supporting and managing of complex/high volume environments
  • Ensuring MQ stability in support of many critical business applications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related study and/or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in an z/OS MQ Administrator Role
  • 5+ years in an iSeries MQ Administrator Role
  • 5+ years in an MQ Support Role (Operations and Developer Support)
  • Strong z/OS & iSeries Environment experience
  • Understanding of Batch, CICS, DB2, IMS usage with MQ
