Job Summary
A nonprofit is in need of a Telecommute Immigrant Rights Campaign Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provoking a robust public debate on immigrant rights issues
- Identifying influencers and alliances that could break through the corruption/inertia
- Generating social and traditional media attention that advances your position
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Understanding of how state and federal politics work
- Experience working on issue-based advocacy campaigns
- Ability to write beautifully and authentically, especially for an online audience
- Ability to feel at home in many social circles
