Job Summary

Transcription company is looking to add a few more experienced professional transcriptionists to our team. The vast majority of our work is academic and medical research interviews. It is considered general transcription. We are ideally looking for people who would want a minimum of four hours of audio per week. But understand that availability can fluctuate unpredictably.

Must maintain extremely high levels of accuracy and work well with style guides.

PAY:
Transcriptionists are paid weekly via Paypal. Base pay starts at 75 cents a minute for about 48-hr turnaround, for one-on-one interviews. (higher if turnaround is quicker or audio is more complicated, such as focus groups).

After the first full month, we offer incentive pay for those who do more than 15 hours of audio per month. With Bronze, Gold and Platinum incentive pays, the majority of our transcriptionists make 77-80 cents per minute within 6 months, with potential for up to 83/min!

Requirements:
MINIMUM 3+ years of transcriptions experience with references available upon request.
some of this MUST be in general transcription, cannot all be medical
Excellent grasp of Word formatting, audio software, etc (Express Scribe is fine)
High quality headphones and footpedal
Established home office
Excellent communication skills
Extremely reliable
High level computer skills
Able to respond well to feedback and maintain our extremely high guidelines for accuracy
Must reside in the US
Understands the responsibilities of an independent contractor. You will receive a 10-99 at the end of the year.
