Job Summary
An insurance and financial services company is in need of a Telecommute Individual Life Insurance Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Contributing to accurate and consistent risk selection as well as fraud detection
- Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction by partnering with field and team members
- Actively engaging in the self-managed activities of their team
Position Requirements Include:
- Willing and available to travel to Appleton, WI for paid training
- Travel for 3 weeks upon start date. Ongoing travel is less than 15%
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or three years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of individual life underwriting experience is required
- Demonstrated experience using creative, problem solving skills with the ability to work in ambiguity
- Strong customer focus with ability to enhance relationships through effective communication and collaboration
- Excellent PC skills and accuracy
