Job Summary
An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Information and Technology Training and Education Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build out the training and certification programs for end users and administrators
- Delivery of live trainings to customers, including data science leaders and practitioners, IT professionals, and executives
- Develop internal training resources for educating our staff on our products
Required Skills:
- At least one year of teaching experience or working in training / education role at a software company
- Curriculum design experience
- Familiarity with Python, R, and common data science tools such as sci-kit learn, PyTorch or tensorflow, and Spark, Ray, or Dask
- Understanding of the data science workflow and deployment methods such as APIs and web applications
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and at least one cloud infrastructure architecture such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment, actively managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders, and handling conflict
