Job Summary
A bioresearch company is in need of a Telecommute Information Security Director in Ann Arbor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create, deploy, and maintain current information security policies, standards and guidelines
- Create and manage, in collaboration with Information Technology, an information security and risk management
- Provide regular reporting on the current status of the information security program
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- BA or BS degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related
- 7+ years of progressive experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs
- Professional security management certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate information security risk
- Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, relationship building, and problem-solving
