Job Summary
An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Information Security Engineer 4.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide operational cybersecurity expertise to develop and work with other developers to create immersive, realistic, cyber training environments
- Advise leadership on the resources required to produce results given a timeline/scope of tasks and utilizing Agile methodologies
- Interface with clients to refine training requirements at the technical level
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel 25%
- Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools including Salt to automate workloads
- Understanding of software development best practices and how to apply them
- Familiarity with virtualization in both private and public cloud environments
- BS in STEM with 4+ years of experience OR equivalent
- Experience serving on a cybersecurity offensive or defensive team
