Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Telecommute Information Systems Network Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting, monitoring, maintaining and enhancing production communications networks
  • Providing Tier 2 & 3 level support for IT Operations Teams
  • Establishing, monitoring and maintaining External Partner VPN Tunnels

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to travel to our offices and participate in meetings/trainings as needed
  • College Degree (Associates Degree or higher) in an IT Enterprise Networking related field and/or 3+ years of work experience supporting Enterprise Network Infrastructure within large, distributed and complex IT environments
  • Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, UDP, and Wi-Fi 802.11 protocols along with Static & Dynamic Routing principles
