Job Summary

An information technology services company is seeking a Telecommute Information Technology Medical Records Quality Analyst Abstractor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing input and recommendations to improve the overall abstraction process
  • Searching computerized medical records for pertinent patient histories
  • Overseeing level of efficiency of current processes and collaborate with Leadership on issue resolution

Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma and/or GED certificate
  • 3+ years’ experience in clinical data abstraction and coding
  • Ability to possess a strong interest in advancing into an elevated Leadership capacity
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Detail oriented, dependable and ability to multi-task
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook skills
