Job Summary

Business management consultant is seeking a Telecommute Inpatient and Outpatient Facility Coder in Mandeville.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Determining the correct principal diagnosis
• Identifying and assigning co-morbidities and complications, major co-morbidities and complications
• Selecting the appropriate DRG and Discharge Disposition code

Required Skills:

• Successful completion of at least one AHIMA certified program with achievement of the correlating professional credential
• A CCS certification
• High School diploma
• Minimum of three years of inpatient (recent hands-on production) coding experience in an acute care hospital
• ICD-10 Proficiency Certification
