Job Summary
A health insurance company has an open position for a Telecommute Inpatient Care Management Nurse.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing initial and concurrent review of inpatient cases
- Discussing cases with facility healthcare professionals to obtain plans-of-care
- Applying clinical expertise when discussing case with internal and external Case Managers and Physicians
Skills and Requirements Include:
- A current, unrestricted RN license in California
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience practicing clinically
- Experience in acute, long term care, acute rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facilities
- 1+ year that involves utilization review and evidence-based guidelines
- Demonstrate a proficiency in computer skills
- Must have a designated workspace and access to install secure high-speed internet via cable / DSL in home
