A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Inpatient Care Manager Nurse.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing initial and concurrent review of inpatient cases applying evidenced-based criteria
- Discusings cases with facility healthcare professionals to obtain plans-of-care
- Performing utilization management
Position Requirements Include:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience practicing clinically
- 1+ years of recent experience that involves utilization review and evidence-based guidelines
- Experience in acute or managed care
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills – Windows, IM, Excel, Outlook, OneNote
- Designated workspace and access to install secure high-speed internet via cable / DSL in home
