Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute Inpatient Coder.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Adhering to and maintain required levels of performance in both Coding accuracy and productivity
- Adhering to the Federal Coding Guidelines
- Identifying appropriate assignment of ICD-10 Codes and CPT for facility services
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Coding credential required from AHIMA/AAPC
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Inpatient medical coding experience
- Must have ICD-10 experience
- Must have experience applying DRG to coding
- Ability to use a PC in a Windows environment
