Job Summary

A not-for-profit healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Inpatient Coder II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Review clinical documentation as appropriate to extract data and apply appropriate codes
• Appropriately assign codes for diagnoses and procedures as determined by the clinical documentation

Required Skills:

• Cert Coding Specialist - American Health Information Management Association
• Ability to determine principal diagnosis, complications, secondary conditions, and surgical procedures
• Able to analyze documentation and abstract pertinent data
• Must maintain minimum quality and productivity standards
