Job Summary
A medical center is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Inpatient Coder III in Fort Meyers.
Must be able to:
- Provide ongoing coding/systems education and training of staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations
- Communicate and participate in local and regional operational and strategic planning
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel between facilities will be required periodically
- Strong research skills including knowledge of automated analysis tools and on line research tools required
- 1 Year Inpatient Acute Care Coding Required
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) Required or RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) Required or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) Required
