Job Summary
A hospital revenue cycle services company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Inpatient Coding Integrity Specialist in Richmond.
Must be able to:
- Utilize the complete patient medical record documentation
- Assign, sequence, validate, and/or edit codes/DRGs and abstracted data
- Maintain or exceed established accuracy standards
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital inpatient coding required
- Undergraduate (associates or bachelors) degree in HIM/HIT
- Coding Technical Skills - ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRGs, APR DRGs, and POA Assignment
