Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Inpatient Coding Resolution Specialist in Richmond.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Compile daily work list from eRequest, CRT and/or other alert/edit systems
• Take action and resolves alerts/edits daily following established procedures and thresholds
• Enter detailed notes to update eRequest

Position Requirements Include:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• 1 year of acute care HOSPITAL inpatient coding experience
• Hospital setting mandatory.
• ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRGs, APR DRGs and associated reimbursement knowledge
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS required
