Job Summary

A healthcare solutions provider needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Inpatient Coding Specialist.

Must be able to:

• Review patient records and accurately assigns appropriate ICD-10 CM or CPT-4 codes
• Coding with a 95% accuracy rate
• Maintain AHIMA coding standards for productivity

Required Skills:

• If working remote must have recent remote experience
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree Required
• Minimum of 3 years coding in a hospital setting with experience in Inpatient/MS-DRG coding
• Must have experience in regulatory issues related to Medicare and other third party payers as is relates to hospital coding and billing
• Require RHIA, RHIT and /or CCS
• Knowledge of MS-DRGs and reimbursement methods for Medicare, CHAMPUS, Medicaid, other payers
