Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Inpatient Coding Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform accurate coding and abstracting of clinical information from the medical record
- Maintain standards for coding data quality and integrity
- Maintain productivity within established guidelines
Position Requirements Include:
- Successful completion of at least one AHIMA certified program
- 4+ years of Medicare inpatient experience
- Ability to assist with quality chart reviews
