Job Summary

A health insurance company is seeking a Telecommute Inpatient Medical Coder.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Adhering to and maintaining required levels of performance in both Coding accuracy and productivity
• Adhering to the Federal Coding Guidelines
• Identifying appropriate assignment of ICD-10 Codes and CPT for facility services

Position Requirements Include:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Coding credential required from AHIMA/AAPC
• 2+ years of Outpatient Coding experience
• 3+ years of Inpatient medical coding experience
• Must have ICD-10 experience
• Experience applying DRG to coding
