Job Summary
A industry leader in Health Information Management needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Inpatient Outpatient Auditor.
Must be able to:
- Assign ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, and/or CPT/HCPCS codes
- Utilize technical coding principals and DRG and/or APC reimbursement expertise
- Ensure optimal reimbursement of all cases in compliance with CMS policies and procedures and Official Coding Guidelines
Position Requirements Include:
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, COC
- Good communication skills
- Successful completion of background screening and hiring process
- Successful completion of screening exam(s) with a passing score of 80% or greater
