Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Inpatient Weekends HIM Medical Records Coder II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing medical record documentation and accurately assigning codes
• Maintaining competency in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4 and HCPCS Level II
• Using logic and reasoning to demonstrate critical thinking

Qualifications for this position include:

• High school diploma
• 2 or more years of coding experience strongly preferred
• Registered Health Information Technician or Certified Coding Specialist
