Job Summary
A cloud computing company needs applicants for an opening for a Inside Plant Design Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Supporting a range of Networking projects and programs by reviewing network hardware designs
- Ensuring timely delivery of scalable fiber optic & copper plant solutions throughout our data centers
- Coordinating with teams to ensure seamless integration of new networking designs into AWS data centers
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- 7+ years of engineering experience in a construction field
- 5+ years of engineering management experience in delivering large scale network connectivity services
- 5+ years of experience in carrying new network design concepts from exploration through deployment
- Experience in design (Revit / AutoCAD / Bluebeam), Project Management, and Documentation Applications (Microsoft Office)
- Must have demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders
