Job Summary
A claims management company is in need of a Telecommute Inside Vehicle Appraiser .
Must be able to:
- Examine damaged vehicles through photographs to determine interior and exterior repair costs for claim settlements
- Negotiate charges with repair facilities for replacement costs and labor
- Evaluate salvage value for total losses
Position Requirements Include:
- High school or vocational school graduate or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensing as required by jurisdiction
- In-depth working knowledge of various types of vehicle construction and repair techniques
- Computer skills-ability to learn automated appraisal system
