Job Summary
An institute for higher education is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Instructional Applications Course Instructor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in the content area
- Respond to student inquiries about content, course of study, learning resource, or assessment
- Communicate professionally, relate well, and share a passion for the content in an effort to motivate a diverse group of students
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Participate in professional conferences as an attendee and/or as a presenter and attend and actively participate in training opportunities provided in online and in person settings
- A doctorate in education
- 5+ years experience as a K-12 teacher or principal
- Experience providing student support and instruction; demonstrated ability to work with struggling or at-risk learners
- Able to utilize phone, email, Internet, instant message, Microsoft office suite, and technology based delivery systems
- Proficiency in oral and written English communication
