Job Summary
A diversified technology company is in need of a Telecommute Instructional Designer in Kansas City.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating engaging learning activities and compelling instructor-led course content
- Designing and developing business process and technical training (e.g. product-specific learning) for assigned projects
- Collaborating with Operations leadership and SMEs to determine learning expectations
Skills and Requirements Include:
- BS degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar; Master’s preferred
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- All other requirements necessary for this position
