Job Summary
A financial service company has an open position for a Telecommute Insurance Defense Senior Staff Attorney in Charleston.
Must be able to:
- Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues
- Defend a full caseload of auto, general liability, products liability, and premises liability cases from inception through trial
Position Requirements Include:
- In state travel required approximately 30% of the time
- Experienced litigation attorney
- JD from accredited law school and license to practice in the state of West Virginia
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Demonstrable verdict experience
- General jurisdictional knowledge of West Virginia judges, jury pools, and opposing counsel
