A healthcare consulting company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Insurance Verification Representative in the Pensacola Area.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting Insurance verification process within 24 hours of receipt of reservation/notification
  • Contacting physician to resolve issues regarding prior authorization or referral forms
  • Researching Patient Visit History to ensure compliance with the Medicare 72 hour rule

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of one year working in an insurance setting
  • Ability to perform Insurance Verification activities based on production quotas
  • Ability to interpret managed care contracts
