Job Summary
An insurance agency is filling a position for a Telecommute Intake Coordinator I.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Provide customer service and clinical support services to members and providers requesting pre-certification and/or case management services
- Coordinate requests with Registered Nurses efficiently and effectively and delivers Medical Management services to our members
- Answer incoming telephone calls and initiate precertification/case management requests from providers/members
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, utilization management or a related medical field background preferred
- Team and goal oriented
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills
