Job Summary
NYC based Interior Designer seeking an multi-facted, aspiring intermediate level Architect or Interior Designer to support a successful, high-end residential Interior Design firm from A to Z.
Seeking a hands-on candidate for a mix of virtual and on-site work. While some work can be done remotely, the onsite aspect will be a requirement to have periodic onsite design and planning meetings and complete tasks in NYC for staging and project completion.
Some included work areas:
--Drafting floor plans for apartments, homes, kitchens and bathrooms
--Supporting Social media
--Providing some admin support
--Shopping for fabrics/running errands related to design projects
To start, project work will be less than 10 hours per week with the potential to grow for the right candidate.
Ideal candidate:
--Young professional freelancer who is excited about design and would like to help business grow with opportunity to become more within the organization.
--Possibly an architecture/interior design student or person early in their career interested in this type of work and learning the ropes first hand from A to Z
--Has experience drafting/drawing up design plans/architecture plans
--Experience with AutoCAD tools
--Excited to get some hands on experience and wear lots of hats
