Job Summary
An environmental publications has a current position open for a Telecommute Investigations Editor.
Must be able to:
- Monitor, research and identify subjects to develop into investigative stories
- Conduct interviews, phone calls and/or meetings, and perform other research as needed
- Commission, edit and publish in-depth investigative reports from freelance reporters
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, WordPress, Google Drive, Social Media, and Asana
- Demonstrates exceptional talent in writing/editing
- Five or more years of experience working as an investigative journalist is required
- Exceptional fluency (writing and speaking) in English
- Considers risks carefully and takes actions to mitigate them
- Organizes projects meticulously according to an established investigative methodology
