Job Summary
An educational products company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute iOS Engineer in New York City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Developing functioning mobile products quickly without incurring too much technical debt
- Collaborating with a team of multiple developers using the Agile/SCRUM process
- Shipping iOS apps with the iOS SDK and XCode on a regular schedule
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have contributed to the release of at least one medium to large-sized application in the App Store
- 2+ years' relevant work experience, including 1 year industry experience
- Proficiency with Swift 3 and Cocoa Touch APIs; knowledge of Objective-C
- Experience using Core Animation (and/or OpenGL ES) in user interfaces
- Proficiency with performance and memory tuning tools like Instruments
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful web service APIs
