Job Summary
A medical laboratory is filling a position for a Telecommute IT Project Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Designing and overseeing interface implementation projectplan
- Being responsible for multiple implementations or conversionprojects
- Performing and facilitating testing and support
Qualifications for this position include:
- Familiarity with a commercial Integration Engine
- Ability to understand HL7 standards and previousexperience with message structure
- Required 2-5 years experience in medical lab operationsand/or IT functions
- Exposure to clinical healthcare environment
- Ability to manage projects with little or nosupervision
- Working knowledge of testing life cycle
