Job Summary

A provider of government health and human services programs has an open position for a Telecommute Java Developer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain and modify existing software programs and design, develop, test, and debug software code
  • Create program designs and specifications that address requirement changes
  • Develop and deploy Java components or complete application functionality in JEE environments

Position Requirements Include:

  • Occasional need to attend meetings at the IRS facility in New Carrollton, MD
  • Experience using modern development methodology including Agile and continuous integration with Jenkins
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • At least five (5) years of related experience developing software using the Java programming language required
  • Experience designing and implementing Java or JEE solutions with Spring technology
  • Some experience developing user interfaces using: Angular JS, Struts, Javascript, CSS, XSLT/XPath
