Job Summary

A consulting agency has an open position for a Telecommute Java Developer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing scalable web-based applications
  • Overseeing server and database health and participating in maintenance activities
  • Creating functional and technical designs based on end user requirements

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 1-3 years' development experience
  • Strong web development skills in HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, DHTML or AngularJS
  • Strong Java development skills and an understanding of application architecture and design
  • Solid SQL knowledge and the ability to design and interact with relational databases using SQL and ORM technologies
  • An understanding of the full software development life-cycle including agile development, test-driven development and continuous integration
