Job Summary
A provider of a web-based system is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Java Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing, documenting, and implementing software
- Supporting sales and support teams both pre- and post-sale
- Researching new technologies and techniques to improve the team and products
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel 3 days a year
- Demonstrable proficiency with Java programming and associated technologies
- Experience with implementing Java web applications
- Experience with RDBMSs
- Familiarity with UNIX and UNIX-like operating systems
- Professional written communication skills
