Job Summary
A nonprofit organizaition is in need of a Telecommute Journalism Editor Consultant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coaching and editing of journalists’ investigations
- Giving timely and relevant feedback on story ideas
- Providing detailed guidance on next steps to journalists
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Willingness to travel within the Americas for training
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution; or the equivalent of 1-3 years of work experience as a journalist or editor
- Fluency in Spanish
- Ability to work independently
- Experience working with a diverse, multicultural staff
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Word and MS Excel)
