Job Summary
An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommute Jumbo Credit Underwriter in Miami.
Must be able to:
- Identify and assess overall risk and potential fraud exposure
- Underwrite residential mortgage loans
- Input of data and analysis of findings
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office products
- In-depth knowledge of the total closing function
- 2 - 5 years of recent frontline (manual and automated) underwriting experience
- In-depth knowledge HVCC, guidelines and requirements along with all federal, state and local compliance regulations
- Up-to-date knowledge in Fannie/Freddie guidelines, back end quality control and fraud audit experience
- Must be able to use Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector and other LOS
