Job Summary
A provider of media software is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Junior Technical Support Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Helping customers resolve problems through email, phone, chat, and forums
- Providing technical support in a variety of customer-specific workflows & configurations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience supporting external customers and a strong foundation in customer service
- Experience with video/audio workflow diagrams and signal flow
- Experience in languages such as but not limited to Java, XML, HTML, REST
- Experience with Cloud-based computing such as but not limited to AWS, Azure, Alibaba, Google
- Experience with server components such as but not limited to: RAM, CPU Usage, RAID, GPU’s and SSD
- Experience streaming protocols such as but not limited to: RTMP (Flash), RTSP, Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS)
- Work non-traditional shifts as requested – 2nd and 3rd, including weekends
