Job Summary
A cloud computing company has a current position open for a Telecommute Kernel Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and deploying changes and new features to the kernel
- Developing network stack code to help manage the large volume of traffic
- Developing device drivers for new hardware
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience developing for the Linux kernel, either professionally or strong open source contributions
- Ability to work with stakeholders within engineering, security, and product
- Willingness to learn and tenacity
- Strong proficiency in C and comfort with x86 architecture
- Familiarity with the Linux kernel
