Job Summary

An information technology company is seeking a Telecommute Knowledge and Enablement Vice President in San Mateo.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing an overall framework that guides knowledge management
  • Managing all stages of the knowledge life-cycle
  • Overseeing the development of the knowledge infrastructure

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in knowledge management, education, organizational development or comparable field of study
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in the areas of knowledge management
  • Knowledge of the process and tools for capturing, organizing, and using individual and departmental intellectual assets
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques for grasping new concepts, acquiring new ways of seeing things, and revising ways of thinking
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
