Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide support for our genetic testing laboratories by serving as a resource to health care professionals and laboratory personnel regarding the intricacies of genetic testing
- Play an integral role in the management and operations of our clinical genetic testing laboratories through their involvement in patient care improvement initiatives and new test development
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Eligible for active candidate status as defined by ABGC or board certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics
- Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling granted by a genetic counseling program accredited by the American Board of Genetic Counseling
- One year of Mayo Clinic on-site training or one year previous laboratory genetic counselor experience
