Job Summary
A business software developer is seeking a Telecommute Lead UX Researcher.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Using evaluative and generative UX research practices to inform, lead, and support the creation of useful, usable, and desirable digital products across web and mobile
- Taking lead and conduct in-depth research programs (such as ethnography, field studies and mixed methods) that lead to deeper and farther reaching findings, insights, and new opportunities
- Guiding cross-functional team through the research and design process, incorporating them into data collection, analysis and the application of insights throughout the design process, and help them build their skills in the process
Position Requirements Include:
- Demonstrated experience practicing complex UX research at scale, using methods such as diary studies, field research, remote research, moderated and unmoderated usability testing,
- Demonstrated passion and advocacy of putting our users (who aren’t necessarily the same as our paying customers) at the heart of the work, and able to do so without grating on others’ nerves
- Proven success at bringing a range of people into the research process
- Ability to manage and make sense of inbound requests, keeping track of numerous research efforts at various stages in their process
- Proven eagerness as a mentor and capable educator that is driven to spread methodological understanding throughout the broader team
- Ability to tell stories that rally the cross-functional team and leadership team around human-centered opportunities
