Job Summary

An educational company is filling a position for a Telecommute Learning Systems Quality Analyst.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Detecting and cataloging defects with appropriate detail so they can be resolved quickly
• Identifying and effectively communicating quality risks and mitigation strategies so the appropriate measures can be taken
• Demonstrating authority and expertise of a functional area or system

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Occasional travel is required for meetings, trainings and conferences
• Bachelor's Degree in Quality Assurance Science, Liberal Arts and Sciences or Computer Science; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 3 - 5 years of quality assurance experience
• Understanding of contemporary quality management principles and practices
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
• Ability to create and execute QA and testing processes on software applications
