Job Summary
An insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Licensed Mental Health Care Advocate.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Obtaining information from providers on outpatient requests for treatment
- Making patient assessments and determining appropriate levels of care
- Focusing on initial inpatient admission for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Licensed Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling, or Licensed Ph.D., or an RN with 2 years of experience in behavioral health
- Must live in the state of California
- 2 years post-Masters experience in a related mental health environment
- Licenses must be active and unrestricted in CA
- Proficient Microsoft skills
- Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift
