Job Summary

A staffing firm needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Life Insurance Lead Accountant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Preparing account reconciliations, broker-dealer focus reports and other regulatory filings
• Acting as the technical lead over account transaction accuracy and assist with audits and regulatory examinations

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Accounting experience related to the investment industry
• Must be able to directly provide data and answers to the auditors and examiners
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other equivalent degree
